Jug Handle’s native plant nursery grows local indigenous trees, shrubs and perennials for public restoration projects, commercial plantings, mitigation projects and home gardens.

Many of our plants have been grown with the assistance of visiting students, who learn to mix potting soil, plant seeds and pot up plants. Students may also learn tree planting, invasive plant weeding and trail maintenance.

Jug Handle Nursery takes special orders for onsite collected and custom grown natives for restoration, mitigation and re-vegetation projects, both public and private.

Plant Sales: Jug Handle holds two yearly plant sales, one in the fall, and one in spring, open to the public. This is an opportunity to buy local plants that may not be available elsewhere. Check the Jug Handle website for details on upcoming plant sales.
