Jug Handle Creek Farm & Nature Center has teamed up with the California Coastal Conservancy and the Coastal Commission to bring tribes to our facilities for retreats to explore the coast, participate in fun nature education activities, and engage in cultural activities.

Each Tribe can hold a two-day full facility (150 guests) retreat, or a 4-day campground retreat (100 guests). The cost is funded through two grants. Camping only retreats can take place in 2022, 2023 or 2024. Full Facility retreat dates are available in 2023 and 2024.
