Our New Logo: The Osprey

The osprey in our logo represents two worlds: those of the sea and the land. Ospreys fish the sea that carved the Ecological Terrace on which the nature center sits. In turn, our forests provide the perches on which ospreys eat their meal. The fish parts they drop are rich in ocean nutrients and nourish the forest. In this way, the osprey weaves together the sea and the land.
