FAQs
Can I hold my wedding at Jug Handle? Yes, if you also use our accommodations. We only host events for people who are renting one of our large facilities, which include: the farmhouse, the bunkhouse or the campground.
How much do events cost? We change a $1,000 event fee for events with 100 or fewer and a $2,000 event fee for events of more than 100 people. All events must pay a $500 damage deposit, which is fully refundable if no damage occurs. Please note that the Damage Deposit fee will not be returned if amplified music or load noise continues after 10:00. Additionally, the cost of extra and extraordinary cleaning and extra port-a-pottie cleaning will be deducted from the damage deposit.
How many people can Jug Handle accommodate for an event? 140 people if you rent the entire facility. Smaller events can be accommodated per the following maximum occupancy: Farmhouse sleeps 20 people, Bunk house sleeps 22 people, the three cabins and two cottages can accommodate 10, the main campground with all 11 sites can accommodate up to 90 people.
What is your cancellation policy? Refund with 30 days cancellation notice, minus 10% service fee. Otherwise we refund you the portion of your reservation fee that we are able to re-book with someone else.
Can we have loud music? Amplified music is only allowed until 10pm. We recommend that any events start winding down the music at 9:00 with mellower tunes to respect our neighbors. Deposits fees will not be returned if amplified music or load noise continues after 10:00. Additionally, you will still be required to turn off your music.
How many kitchens are there? We have three kitchens - one in the Farmhouse, one in the Bunkhouse and one in our new building for the cabins
How many bathrooms are there? Four in the Farmhouse, Four in the bunkhouse, one for the cabins and seven port-a-potties in the campground. This is sufficient for most events.
How do you handle trash for events? Any group over 30 people will be required to pay an additional $300 garbage fee. This will lower our staff time for collection as well as the trip to the dump along with the fees. For campground groups we will provide cans for collection.
Can we purchase firewood? Yes we can sell you a truckload of firewood.
