Invite your students to leave the classroom behind and step into a world where nature becomes their teacher. Led by experienced naturalists, participants wander forest trails, explore the beach, discover the wonders of the ecological staircase, and slow down enough to truly connect—with the environment and with one another.

Whether you're staying cozy in our Bunkhouse or camping beneath the stars, Jug Handle offers accommodations to suit a variety of group needs. With miles of hiking trails, rugged coastal bluffs, beaches, and the unique pygmy forest just outside your door, your group can take the time to slow down and truly take it all in.
Many of our programs can also be tailored to fit your group's interests. Educators are encouraged to ask about aligning activities with classroom learning goals, while adult groups can explore topics ranging from coastal ecology and native plants to natural history and stewardship.
